Watercraft is powerful if done correctly, It can tell you so much about a lake even if you have never fished there before.
Key factors
Check the weather forcast in advance. Wind direction, air pressure etc because as many of you will know carp like to follow the wind a lot of the time.
Polarized Glasses. Never leave the house without these! once you get some you will wonder how you managed without.
Peg Choice. I see a lot of anglers fish the peg neariest to the car park, big mistake!
Walk around. Even if you have to walk around twice, Always walk around the lake! The fish may be held up in a corner at the opposite end og the lake and without walking around you would never know this!
