The Bream

Identification: Bronze, Slimy Flanks, Forked Tail, Downturned protruding mouth

Lifespan: 15-20 years

Habitat: Deep slow moving stretches of River, Canal and Stillwaters

Common Methods: Groundbait swimfeeders

Best Baits:: Redworm, Caster and Corn


 

 

 

 

 

 

The Bream is not the hardest-fighting fish in the water but with Specimen Bream getting bigger and bigger its usually worth getting the Camera out.

Bream are classed as a shoal fish and if you get one get your rod back out because there will be more.

Considered a nusence by Carp Anglers because of their greed, they aint affriad of a large Boilie.
