The Perch is without a doubt one of the most stunning looking predator fish but it is also one of the most aggressive predators too.

New Anglers often catch Perch as their very first fish due to its aggressive nature and the sight of a stunning perch showing its Dorsal fin is often that moment to get the young angler hooked on fishing.

When Perch are young they move around in quite large shoals hunting small fry.
